Delete your Librarius account and what it means

In Librarius you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from the app itself. This step is final: you will lose access to your synced library, profiles, chats, and activity linked to that account, except for retention required by applicable law (for example security or legal obligations).

Steps to delete your account

Open the Librarius app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings (or Account / profile settings, depending on the version).
Choose Delete account (or the equivalent option).
Read the confirmation notice. To continue, type the confirmation text the app asks for.
Confirm. The request is processed in our systems; the account can no longer be used to sign in.

If you cannot open the app (for example you lost access to your sign-in method), contact support via the website or the channel listed in the FAQ and include the account email. We will help you complete deletion.

What data is deleted

Account and identification data (sign-in email, internal user IDs for that account).
Public profile and contact details you added (name, photo, phone, social links, etc.).
Content tied to the account: personal library, lists, posts, reviews, stories, private messages and related attachments, to the extent they belong only to you.
App preferences and push notification tokens for that device/account.

What may be retained and for how long

Minimal technical records (for example security or error logs) may be kept for a limited time to prevent abuse and operate the service, not for commercial profiling.
Content you shared with others (messages another user already received, or content in groups/events) may remain visible to those third parties as the product allows; deleting your account removes your account, not necessarily history others already have.
Data we must keep by law is retained only for the required period and then deleted or anonymized.

Delete data without deleting the whole account

You can edit or delete much of your content from the app (profile, posts, photos, listings, etc.) without deleting the account. If you need us to erase a specific set of data while keeping access, contact support with the account email and what you want removed.

Timelines

After you confirm in the app, account access is cut off immediately or shortly after. Full purge from databases and backups may take up to several days (at most a reasonable period allowed by technical operations and legal duties).
