DESCRIPTION: The Imperium is the realization of humanity's greatest ambitions- a society where the death of the body doesn't mean the death of the mind. In order to preserve such a society, the Imperium's Founders organized a system of rule that would ensure power never truly left their hands, even after they all died a final death. Their 'patterns,' a psychic imprint of their personalities, traits, and skills, would be implanted into each new generation of children. Those children would grow up to become Nobles, each one corresponding to a different Founder. They would carry the legacy of their Founder forward, preserving their vision for the Imperium for all time. But they also carry their Founder's sins, lives forever defined by a reputation they had no personal hand in crafting. Izanami is one such Noble, and her Founder is the most infamous of them all. The Deceiver Admiral. The Tyrant's Bane. And while he made sure his name would be spoken in hushed tones for centuries, her ambitions are even greater. The only question now is whether she'll survive long enough to see those ambitions through.
